Refrain From These Salary Negotiation Tactics That Will Fail

We have been always told to negotiate our salaries but often it doesn’t work. Refrain from the following salary negotiation tactics which might fail:


1) Turning up for a meeting without knowing your achievements.
2) Lying about your current salary.
3) Using personal financial issues to gain a raise.
4) Asking for a raise when you've under performed.
5) Getting into arguments.
6) Using threats such as quitting
