Don't Ever Trust This Type Of Manager

We all know that our direct supervisor or manager sets the tone for our relationship with our job. If your manager is cool, then it could be a great job for you even if it isn't actually your dream job. And if your manager is a jerk, then it won’t matter how much you like the work at your desk, because most probably you’ll be going to hate your job. A manager is a person who can give you a pay raise or keep you stuck at your current pay rate. He/she can fire you or recommend you for a promotion.

The power our manager holds over us, our employment security and career path make our direct boss as the most significant person in our working life as long as we have our job. Considering the traditional employment, one of the most dysfunction features is the unequal power relationship between a manager and their subordinate. Nowadays, the new managers are promoted with a little thought and given little to no training and directly put in charge of other people.

Also, it is not healthy for you to need your manager to approve every single move at work. Most of the times, we start to shift our words and actions to please them and in the process feels a lot of pressure and get ourselves hurt. I hope we all have a manager who trusts us and whom we can trust. We all deserve to work for someone who wants to see the real us at work, not a fake version. But many of us are not that lucky!

Know the signs beforehand and never trust this types of manager:

1) Someone who's always tracking everyone's time in and time out.
2) When the person's obsession is limited to numbers.
3) When he's always finding others to blame.
4) The one who can't stand up to seniors even for right things.
5) The one who complains about you to your colleagues or authorities.
